You're The Coolest!

Just wanted to stop in and share this little card I made. He is a Sassy Cheryl cutie pie called
"Penguin  Panache". I just couldn't pass him up. I have always loved her snowmen but this little guy is too stinkin cute and skated right onto this card.

Don't Tell Anyone...

I have had this cutie in my digi collection for quite some time. Isn't it adorable?!?
It is a Mo Manning image called "I Forgot". You can purchase it for yourself HERE.
She has been colored on my craft desk just waiting to be used for about a month, poor thing...
I FINALLY got some crafty time and had to give her a home.
I will probably keep her in my stash for the next time I forget something, which
probably won't be long. HeeHee
I did a little "research on the Forget Me Not flower and found that they are blue or blueish purple.
It doesn't go too well with the color scheme of my card but it fits the theme.
I think it stands out nicely.
I am entering my card in the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #266, Anything Goes.

Heard You Were Dragon...

Hi! I just wanted to share a little something I made this weekend.
Before boxing up my craft room and moving it into it's new home I had a few projects "in process". This little guy has been colored up for about 3 years and just waiting patiently to be made into something. I finally pulled this little card together and put a smile on his face.

Dying to make some more ribbon...
(pun intended)
It's been quite a while since I played in Blogland.
Honestly, I haven't had much to share... sad huh?
My crafty friends Kim, from Oak Pond Creations and Linda, from Turtle in the Sand
came over last weekend and we had some fun dying seam binding ribbon.
Why haven't I done this sooner?!?!

You're the Bee's Knees

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #163 - Monochromatic

Hello and Happy Tuesday Blog Land!
It's time to put your craftiness to the test in the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge. Our VERY Sassy Ms. Dawn from Dawn a New Day is leading the way this week with a Monochromatic theme. I am a little out of my element on this one so be sure to check out all the other Sassy Girl's creations on the challenge page for some more inspiration. The only thing I knew going into this challenge was that I just HAD to use my new "Honeycomb" embossing folder. My friend Mel is a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and she left me a little package on my porch last week and I have been dying to use it. What do ya think Mel?
Any who...this is the end result of my latest crafty expense.

Thanks to you all who joined us in last week's sketch challenge. What a fabulous group of entries. We sure hope to see you again this week. Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the Internet and as always...
Happy Crafting Y'all!!

Hot Fun in the Summertime!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #159 - Favorite Color Combo

Happy Tuesday Blogland friends!!
It's time for another crafty challenge at Sassy Cheryl's. Our Sassy Sistah Cathy, over at Ink It Up and Stamp it Out with Cathy Edgar is our hostess with the mostest. She want's us to use our favorite color combo!!
I have so many favorite color combinations and I really think it depends on my mood. When I was looking through my stash of papers blue and green were jumping out at me. I wonder what mood that means I was in? Does anyone know? If you do, I would love for you to tell me. Lol
So, I had colors in mind and moved on to my image. This image of Sally called Lazy Afternoon was just begging me to pick her. So I obliged. The papers just seemed to fall into place after that.

I hope this card brings you all a little bit of Summer on this extended Winter of cold.
Stupid Groundhog!! (is he ever right???)

Please come join in the fun this week and check out what the other Sassy Gals have created.
We love seeing all your wonderful creations.
Happy Crafting Y'all!!

Good Morning! I hope everyone survived Monday and are on their way to a terrific Tuesday.
I'm here to remind you that it's time for another fun challenge at Sassy Cheryl's.  I am the hostess this week and I have chosen the theme Back To School. We started back on Wednesday so our Summer routine has changed and we are trying to adjust. Maybe we will adapt sometime before Christmas. Lol
I chose Jeni Hates School for my image this week. Don't you just love the expression on her face?
Poor Jeni, she misses Summer on the beach in her flip-flops... *sigh*

It was so great to see so many of you in last weeks Birthday Challenge. Hope to see you in our Back to School gallery as well. Good luck in the drawing and Happy Crafting Y'all!!

Silver Lining

Some of you who have visited my blog know that my Hubby bought a 1976 Airstream Tradewind a few months ago. He is in the process of renovating it and is CONSUMED! We have officially named it "The Silver Lining" but I refer to it as "The Other Woman". Lol
When I saw this image from Saturated Canary, I just HAD to have it. Good timing too...
Today is our 19th Wedding Anniversary! Perfect for his card this year.
Happy Anniversary Honey!
Krista is having a Anything Goes challenge so I decided to enter this one.

Let It Snow

This week's challenge is hosted by Sassy Pat at Cards 2 Cherish and she wants to see some Winter creations! It definitely doesn't feel like Winter here in SC. We have had very few cold days. The weather feels more like Spring. Cool in the mornings and in the 70's and 80's in the afternoon. It's kind of hard to get in the Christmas spirit when you can't wear sweaters and scarves. maybe it will get colder closer to Christmas.
I chose Cheryl's Flat Bottom Snowy for my card this week. Wishful thinking, huh?? Lol
Last week's participation was through the roof!!! We were so glad to have each and every one of you. Your entries were beautiful and I hope you join us again for this week's challenge.
Happy Crafting Ladies!!!

Happy Veteran's Day!!

Totally Papercrafts Challenge #92 - Victorian

It's Victoria's turn to host our challenge at Totally Papercrafts so it's fitting that she has chosen the theme....Victorian. I do have to say that this is a little outside my comfort zone. So, this was definitely a challenge for me. I guess it's good to reach outside your box sometimes. I sure had fun creating this card and I have to say that I am pretty pleased.
It is Veteran's Day, formerly known as Armistice Day here in The United States. I wanted to make a patriotic themed card to show love and support for all our Veterans and to give thanks to them for their sacrifice.
God Bless You All!!

I don't usually show the inside of my cards, but sometimes I think I like it more than others. (Lol) This is one of those times so I am sharing.

Land of the Free

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #39 - Thankful

This week at Sassy Cheryl's we are celebrating Thanksgiving by being Thankful. It is the perfect time to reflect and remember all the things that mean the most to us. I have so much to be thankful for. I have a loving family, a place to live, a job, food on my table...(and the list goes on).
It seems that more and more people I know are having to part with their loved ones who are going off to serve their Country. I wanted to let those people know that I am thankful for them also. God Bless You!

I used Cheryl's "Liberty Bear" for my card today. Her Americana images are fantastic! My fellow crafter/cardmaker friend Lisa made me several colors of seam binding ribbon and I love it. I chose the red, thanks Lisa! The sentiment is from TLC Creations. Come join in the challenge and let us know what you're thankful for.

Not only is Cheryl giving away the usual gift certificate to her store, there is a chance to win this beautiful ceramic platter with one of Cheryl's adorable snowmen. Sure wish I was eligable. Lol
