W.O.Y.W.W.

It's Snoopin' time again ya'll!! Head on over to Julia's blog and see what everyone is up to for "What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday".

This week my desk really is a mess. I have lots of misc. stuff strewn about. On the left are my new goodies. Some CD cases to hold my ever growing clear stamp collection, my new Spellbinder Die and my new EK Success punch. On my mat is the card I finished last night for The Digi Shack. Love that cute little bad kitty. Lol
The best part about my desk today is my new Big Ole' Adhesive gun!!!!! (And it's PINK!) Our local Michaels finally had one when I was there yesterday. I didnt even see it until I was walking out the door and I had already used my coupon on my new punch. You know I had to go back and snatch it up. (There were only 2 left!!!) So I got back in the LONG line and begged for an extra coupon. Lucky for me the cashier was very nice and let me get 40% off. WooHoo! Happy Girl!!!! :)

Bird? What bird?

It's Digi Shack Wednesday again!!!

This week for our showcase I used a Brian Lock image, "Catty". He is one of The Digi Shack's new Halloween images. Isn't he adorable? I just couldn't help but think he was up to something. Poor bird never saw it coming.
You can get him and more great images HERE.

Beary Happy Halloween

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #31 - Favorite Sassy Cheryl's Image

Cathy is our hostess this week at Sassy Cheryl's and she wants us to use our favorite Sassy Cheryl image for our challenge.

My favorite always seems to change with my mood, seasons & new crafty purchases. (such is a ladies choice...right?) Right now my favorite Sassy Cheryl image happens to be "Marching Witch Bear". When I was little I wanted to be a "Rockette" and I think she wants to be one too. Hubby says she is a "Spookette"! Lol!! Every Thanksgiving I would wait, wait and wait some more for those high-kickin' dancers to take their turn in front of Macy's so I could dance & kick right along with them. To this day I do not miss the parade and I make my kids suffer through with me now that they are teenagers. Lol

Tying The Knot...Country Style

I made this card for one of my customers at work. She had a friend getting married and asked if I would make her a card with a cowboy boot, sunflower and blues & yellow. I got everything in there she asked for, I just hope she likes it.
I printed a cowboy boot off the internet and made several copies to make a layered template. I cut each piece in a different tone of brown. For the lighter main part of the boot I ran it through the Cuttlebug with the paisley folder. It was a lot easier than I thought it was gonna be.

WOYWW!

It's that time again ya'll...It's Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday!!!
First of all...sorry I didnt make it around last week to snoop. My hard drive crashed and I was computer-less for over a week. Waaah!

I had to show you "WHO" was at my workdesk this morning. If you look closely in my chair you can see my beautiful furry baby Bella sleeping. She usually curls up under my feet while I am crafting in my Happy Place but I guess today she didn't want me to get anything done. "No crafting for you Mom, get to work and make some money so you can buy me more puppy treats!"
Hop on over to Julia's blog and see what everyone else is up to.

Behind Every Successful Woman...

It's Digi Shack Wednesday!

This week I used another adorable image by Brian Lock. My little morning coffee diva dog is colored with copics. Papers are All My Memories (Attitude Dots & Joyful Stripe). The sentimant is frome Verve Stamps (Delightful&Delicious). I thought this doggy was a she so I gave her collar a little bling. You could also make this one as a Grumpy Man dog (also fitting-HeeHee). Stop by The Digi Shack and check out this little cutie as well as many other adorable images.

I made this card for card club last night. I used an image from Sassy Cheryl's that was a freebie from her group on Paper Craft Planet. I love this shy little gal! If you haven't seen Cheryl's images before you need to check them out. There are so many fabulous images to choose from. She has some really great Halloween and Christmas images right now. Paper is MyMindsEye "Quite Contrary" and Bazzill Basics cardstock in "Rain" & "Vanilla". I used a Quickutz embossing folder "Diamonds & Dots".

It's time again for What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday!! Hop on over to Julia's blog and take a look around other crafters work spaces! It's fun to find out how messy/neat/big/small/cozy they are. Mine has a few "left overs" from this past week. I got a couple new punches!! Yay!! Some women like shoes...I like paper punches. Lol The cup cake one on the right is from EK Success. The one on my cutting mat is a Paisley punch from Creative Memories. On the left I have a bag of buttons and twine from card group last night. The card we made is right there in the middle. It was my turn to lead and we did a paper piecing card. All my "Inky Digits" gals made some beauties. You guys are a hoot! Getting ready to start making a new mess tonight!! I think next week I may wind up with a little "drink" on my desk like my blog buddy Sarah. HeeHeeHee

My Amazing Luck!

I have been looking for a card catalog for such a long time. As luck would have it, my friend Kim ran across this one in a local antique store. My hubby went by to check it out and it was such a great deal we couldn't pass it up. The other side is exactly the same. That's 90 drawers! I know what you are thinking......"Jennifer, where in the H-E-double hockey sticks are you going to put that monstrosity????" Well; I'm not sure yet. We are debating on wether to save it in one piece until we can make room for it or to take it apart and make a different piece. Hmmmm...what do you guys think?

Movie Night!

Made this card for a SUPER friend! She needed a BIG "Thank You" from me. Not only did she watch my furry babies for me while I was on vacation for 2 WEEKS; she also took my daughters Senior pictures at no cost. Kim...You are awesome!!! She and her family are a bunch of movie nuts!! I dont think there is a movie they haven't seen. So I put together a little movie package for them to enjoy at home and at the theatre. Love you guys!!

This adorable image is from Karen's Doodles and I colored it with copics.
I used a popcorn bag(actually like thin cardboard) from "Bag of Chips", a party favor I found at Hobby Lobby. The film strip is Queen&Co., felt fusion. I used liquid applique on the popcorn to give it some dimension. The "fresh popcorn" sign is on top of a tag that fits in the pocket to hide a gift card.
