Wishing You Joy

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #22 - Thinking of You

This image is "Tiny Tabitha" From Sassy Cheryl's of course! I tried something new to me this time. I paper pieced her clothes. It was tedious; but lots of fun. Her coat & hat are Frances Meyer & My Minds Eye. Blue back ground paper is Fancy Pants. I used Liquid Applique with Martha Stewart crystal course glitter on top then heated to get the fluffy look for her mittens, hat & snow. I embossed the white card stock with Cuttle Bug's Snowflakes folder. I used EK Success scallop border & Martha Stewart Snowflake punches, a snowflake brad and pink tulle. The sentiment is a Kolette Hall stamp.

Colorado, Rocky Mountain High! "SNAP!"....Back to reality *sigh*

At Adams Falls in Grand Lake,Colorado

Back from the best vacation I have ever been on! Took 2 weeks off and headed to Colorado to visit my sister and her family. I was a "WILD WOMAN"! My brother-in-law took me up in a helicopter, we went white water rafting and hiking up mountains. Saw some of God's beautiful creatures and the most amazing landscapes! On the way home we stopped in Memphis to see Beale St. and Graceland.....UH-HUH!(lip curled) then drove to Tupelo to see the house Elvis was born in. Back to reality this morning! Woke up at 7:50 and had to be to work at 8:30. What a way to start the day. I will be back to my creations soon :)

Favorite Peeps

I made this card for one my "Besties" birthday! She is a Diva that lives in the country so I figured this image was perfect for her. I used a Sarah Kay stamp colored with copic markers. The inside reads: "Happy Birthday to One of My Favorite Peeps". Happy Birthday Kristine ♥ jeni

Small Wonder

I made this card for my Neice Jessica. She is having a baby in October and her shower is next weekend. I tried not to make this card gender specific because her Dad doesn't want to know if its a boy or girl. ( But I know....Tee Hee Hee!) Sure hope I can keep my big mouth shut!!!
Papers are All My Memories "Charming Dots" & "Charming Stripes". I used spellbinders nestabilities Labels Ten. The border punch & sentiment are both Stampin'Up. The little wooden giraffe is from Michael's.

Pop on over to Jodi's blog (Inked Inspirations) and check her out. She is a very talented artist and has some AWESOME blog candy she's giving away for her Birthday! ( I thought you were supposed to receive on your birthday Jodi???) Happy Birthday Girl! ~jeni :)

WOYWW!

It's time for "Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday" again! Just click & Go check it out what everyone is working on!
My "Workdesk" is a mix of a few things right now. First...that cute card you see is from my card club last night. Our leader for the night was Cindy and she had us create a flower out of a Coca-Cola Can. It was really neat. We used her CuttleBug and one of her nestabilities to cut out the petals. Thanks for the new use for great materials Cindy!!! The sketch you see is for the current Sassy Cheryl's challenge. Cant wait to get started on that one. And that Cuttle Bug folder there.....UGH!!! I looked for TWO weeks for that thing so I could use it on my Independence day cards!!! And now that I have them done A.C. Moore gets the folder. *sigh* Oh well....had to have it. :)
I hope you all have a Fabulous day!

Yankee Doodle

One more for Independence Day! Hope you all had a GREAT Holiday!

This little cutie is a Sassy Cheryl's digital image called "Uncle Sam". I used Creative Imaginations & Bazzill Basics papers and printed the "Yankee Doodle" sheet music off line. I used three different punches on this one; MS "Stars border", EK Success "scallop" & Creative Memories "Star".

Happy Birthday America!

I couldnt let this holiday pass without making a card for "My Country". It is her Birthday after all. This image from Sassy Cheryl's made it easy. I colored her with copic markers then cut and pasted her. (I think my eyes crossed a few times. Lol) Paper is Creative Imaginations. I used Spellbinders die "Labels Two". The little calendar stamp is Stugio G ( it was a dollar stamp @ A.C. Moore ). I love it when I find stuff like that.

I hope we all take time to reflect today and think about the true meaning of the Holiday and thank those who have and those who still keep us free. ♥
Have a Fun & safe 4th of July everyone!! ~jeni

Let's Be Friends

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #18 - Use light blue, kraft (&/or tan) and peach.

This challenge was fun for me because I was forced to use a color I dont use... EVER! I am not a very "peachy" person.(Lol) I did manage to find a paper in my stash that had some peach on it; but I bought it because it was polka-dot.

The image is Sassy Cheryl's "Small Friendship" colored with copic markers.
For paper I used Stampin' Up "kraft", Bazzill Basic "Rain", My Minds Eye "Classic Everyday Fresh Linen" and K&Co. "Meadow Polka Dot".
I also used Spellbinders "Labels One", McGill 3" tab punch and Spellbinders Impressabilities "Floral & Stone".
