May the Easter Bunny leave only tasty droppings in your Easter Basket...

Happy Tuesday blog land friends!
This week at Sassy Cheryl's Judy is our Hostess with the mostest and she has picked the theme Easter Parade. Just think of bunnies and bonnets! I am making some treat bags for some special little ones and this is the first. I wanted to get a start on them before time got away from me. (which seems to happen a lot)  These are so easy to make!! I used one of my card envelopes but you could even use Ziploc bags. I sure hope you can come by and join in on the challenge this week.  Remember, if you use a Sassy Cheryl image you have two chances to win that Sassy Cheryl's account credit!!  WooHoo!!

Funky Bunny treat bag topper!

Here's the whole bag. Sorry the plastic is bunched up. It was kind of hard to take a picture without if falling over. I said a few "choice" words before I finally got it to stay long enough to snap a pic. Lol

Easter isn't Easter without Peeps!!! Yum-E!!

Fairy Tales Do Come True

Happy Friday everyone! It has FINALLY arrived!!
I was asked by a friend of mine to make her a card for a bridal shower she was heading to this weekend.
She gave me the bridesmaid's color and told me she had brown hair. I chose the Fairy Tale theme because my friend is a Disney fanatic like me. I sure hope she likes it.
I am entering this into the Tiddly Inks Best Friends Challenge. I hope it fits since I made it for one of mine AND don't you always marry your best friend?

Here's a close up of the image, so you can see the sparkles on her dress. Every bride should shine!

The Bride to Be's new monogram!!! (how exciting)
Do you ladies remember practicing writing your new names before you got married? I do...

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Thursday #68

Another Friday Eve is upon us...WooHoo!!
That means it's time for another Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Challenge.
I have a surprise for you all. I have cleaned my desk!!!
(sorry the pic is so dark, it was cloudy when I took this)
Okay, get off the floor, I see you down there!!! One of two things has happened. You have either passed out from the shock of seeing the actual TOP of my desk or you are rolling on the floor laughing because you know it won't stay this way. Which one is it? Well, I had to clean it!! I needed to make room for my new Copic Hotel!! There was even a little room on the end for my Prisma pencils. Now that I have a larger one I have noticed there are just a few more colors that I NEED!!
Okay... I showed you mine, now you show me yours. Head on over to Sassy Cheryl's blog and link up a picture of what's going on in your crafty world!

Happy Birthday to a Really Fun-gi!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #107 - Think Spring

Tuesday means it's time for a Sassy Cheryl's Challenge! Peggy is our hostess with the mostest and she is Thinking Spring!! Spring can mean so many things. I chose to think of Spring plantings. I have several friends who have gardens and they have been planting up a storm!! This is how I imagine them on their Saturday mornings...just like Farmer Sally! Lol  Isn't she a doll??
I sure hope you can join us for the Sassy Challenge this week, just remember to think Spring!!
If you use a Sassy Cheryl's image you could win 2 free images from Cheryl's shop. If you don't, you still have a chance to win one, so jump right in.

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Yesterday was my Daddy's Birthday!! I was torn between a funny card and a handsome "guy" card so I decided to mix the two. I gave the card a clean look with manly stripes and a funny sentiment. The inside says..."you must be approaching magnificent!". I think he got a kick out of it.
I hope you had a great day Daddy. Are you thirty yet???
Love you!
I used this new Mo Manning image called Introducing Oskar. Isn't he a dapper fellow? He looks a bit older than my Daddy but I think he worked well. I am entering this card into Mo's "Button's & Bows" challenge.

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Thursday #67

I went to a local antique shop called "Southern Pickers" today to browse around and look for a new carrier for my Copics. I could get lost in that place for hours...wait, I did!! (LMBO) I like to re purpose old things and make them new again, so I was on the lookout for a case of some kind with a handle. No such luck...but I did wind these lace edged Fire King milk glass sherbet bowls and a PINK Pyrex casserole dish!!! I am going to use the milk glass for Easter decorations, put a little Easter grass in them with some fancy eggs, a bunny or two and a few chicks. I have a thing for the older Pyrex bowls and couldn't pass up this pretty casserole dish. I would say I had a great day at the antique store.

Wander on over to Cheryl's blog and let her know what you have going on this week.

Special Birthday Wish

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #106 - Make it Green

Happy Tuesday! Time for this weeks Sassy Cheryl's Challenge. Our ever so talented DT Coordinator Peggy is the hostess this week and I think she is feeling a little Irish. She wants to see some green on our creations.

I made this card for my dear friend Linda's Mom, Hilda. She just turned 85!!! They took her out to a YUMMY local Mexican restaurant (one of my favs) and had a fiesta! She got TWO cakes and even got to wear a sombrero! I think the whole restaurant was singing her Happy Birthday. She was so cute! You can catch a glimpse of her HERE on Linda's blog.

I used Tiny Tabitha for my card. Isn't she a sweetie. I have always loved her, but I haven't colored her with black hair before. I kinda like it, although she would be cute no matter what color her hair was. You can get her HERE in the $2 bin!!!!! Too cute to pass up.

I hope you all will come and join us in this weeks challenge. I know we all have something green!!
Looking forward to seeing your crafty creations.

Happy 70th Joan Marie!!!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #105 - Sketch

It's another terrific Tuesday and time for another fun Sassy Cheryl's Challenge!
Our super talented DT member Jackie is our hostess this week and has provided us with a great sketch.

I made this card for my Mother in Law's 70th Birthday. The whole Family on my Hubby's side actually got together and we had such a wonderful day. It is so hard for everyone to be in the same place at the same time. There was great food, yummy cake and lots of laughs. Such a blessing!

I just loooove Cheryl's new cutie Callie! When I first saw her I knew she was destined to have red hair.
So, I did some research and some practicing and I have colored my VERY FIRST red head.  I like it so I will definitely be trying it again. I am going to practice on black next. We will see how that goes.

Okay guys, take a copy of this sketch to your crafty table and get busy! It's too much fun not to join in.
