Little Boy Blue

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #131- Got The Blues?

Good Tuesday Morning to you all! I hope you are all well rested and ready for the day. I actually had TWO days off this weekend because of the Labor Day weekend here in The States. WooHoo!! I managed to get my card done with a few hours to spare. I had such a fun time working with Noah and Patches.
I chose this week's challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's and it is all about BLUE! I have to confess that I peeked in the folder and saw my Sassy Sister's cards already and you are in for a treat!! Our Sassy boss lady has been on one heck of a creative streak lately and has really given us some amazing images to play with. Hop on over and check them out HERE.

I made this card for my Nephew Jonathan (aka: Finn). He had knee surgery last week and is doing well but still has a way to go in his recovery. I know it's going to be soooo hard for him not to be "on the go".  He is always so full of energy and is ALL BOY! I love you Finny and hope you have a speedy recovery. Sending you big bear (((( hugs)))).

Thanks so much to all of you who played in last week's Back 2 School challenge. We sure hope to see you all again this week. Get those BLUES out and get crafty!!!

Hang in there...

Happy Monday blogland friends. It's the first Monday of the month so that means only one thing..time for the monthly Just Inklined blog hop!

Our hostess with the mostest is the talented Tammy.
This months hop theme is get well cards.
I chose this cute little orangutan digi called Hang Utan. Isn't he adorable?

You should have come here from our new DT member Angela's (AJ for short) blog. Your next stop along the way is Joyce's blog. I'm sure she has a beautiful card to show you. The hop has 2 hidden spot prizes so you might want to start at the beginning and see all the girls. Grab a cup of coffee (or tea) and relax a bit.
Blog hop order:
Jeni (you are here)
 Jak

F.Y.I. - You still have a few days left to get in on the Just Inklined DT call. If you are interested just check out the posting HERE.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #35 - Anything But Square

I would like to send out a *~*BiG HAPpY BiRtHdAy*~* to our Sassy Boss Lady Cheryl! She is a wonderful person to design for and she makes the most amazing images. I am so lucky to be a part of your design team. Hope you have a FaBuLoUs day!

This week at Sassy Cheryl's our hostess with the mostest is Lily! She wants us to create something with Cheryl's adorable images and make it anything BUT square.

Come and join a fun group of gals who play along in our challenges every week for a chance to win a gift certificate to Cheryl's Shop AND a chance to be a guest designer for Sassy Cheryl's!!!Hope to see your creations soon!

Things To DO When You Are Better:

I made this card for my daughter's friend. He was in the hospital with two collasped lungs. So, we wanted to make him a get well soon card. The crossword is full of things he likes to do and can do when he gets better. Inside is a packet of "Nerds banana candy"(he raids our bananas every time he comes to the house).
Papers = Karen Foster "Blue Hawaiian" & De'ja Views "Alpha Blocks stripes"
QuicKutz monkey & Cricut palm tree
Stampin Up border punch
