No Bones About It

Good Morning! This is my EARLY morning post for today. My bloggy pals "across the pond" get up a little earlier than I do so while you read this I will be counting sheep. Lol

This cute little pup, Scruff, is a Just Inklined image. How stinkin' cute is he??? I just love his happy expression. I imagine if I was a dog and had a bone that big it would be like me having my favorite Starbucks drink. I've been told that I get that glazed over look in my eyes when I see the cup. Lol

I have been trying to build up my Thank You cards. It seems like I always need one.
Scruff and Bone seemed like a perfect image to give someone a happy thanks.

Golf Trolley

I have a Birthday card to share with you today. My Brother-In-Law, Sam is a BIG golf nut and his Birthday was in May. He, my Sister and their two boys will be coming in next week from Colorado. I can't wait to see them. I figured I better finish his card before he got here. Lol
This "Golf Trolley" image from Just Inklined is just perfect for him.

Guess WHOO misses you...

Happy Tuesday Morning!

It sure does seem like time flies. Can it really be the middle of May already???
I made this card with my Sister and her family in mind. They live in Colorado, so I don't get to see them that often. BUT...we are expecting them in EXACTLY a month!!! Woo Hoo!!!
I used this sweet little owl from Just Inklined called Professor Hoot. Isn't he beautiful? I had such a fun time coloring him. I almost colored him blue but changes my mind at the last minute, maybe next time. Lol

My Favorite Flower

It's the first Monday of the month again and that means it's time for another
fabulous Just Inklined Blog Hop!!!
This month's hostess is the talented Toni and she has chosen the theme...
Single Layer Cards.
I have to admit I was a little scared when I saw the theme. You all know I like my "stuff" and "fluff". I decided to print whatever image I used on white card stock and go from there. I chose Tulip Jug mostly because it is my favorite flower and I just loved the jug. I had my image all colored and I "test stamped" my sentiment several times before I tried to put it on my card. Worked like a charm EVERY time until I went to stamp it on my card. UGH!! So, this is where the green polka dotted paper comes in. I covered up my boo boo and used one on my test stamped sentiments and popped it up. Sure hope it still qualifies. Lesson learned...stamp the sentiment BEFORE you color the image. LOL

You should have come here from Angela's(Aj) blog
If you get lost or would like to start at the beginning just go to Toni's blog and start there.
I'm sure the other Just Inklined girls have some beautiful cards to share.
The next stop on the hop is Ann Marie's blog
Hope you all enjoy the hop!!

Do not adjust your computer screen...

Happy Thursday morning!
Are you feeling a wee bit colder since you got here? Lol
I have promised myself to get a head start on my Christmas cards for 2012, so if you stop by and see one from time to time don't be alarmed. I haven't lost my mind... I am just trying to make sure that doesn't happen when Christmas sneaks up on me and I haven't gotten my cards finished.

This little cutie is a Just Inklined image called Letter to Santa (Boy). Isn't he adorable?
There is also a Letter to Santa (Girl) who is just as cute.

I made the strand of lights with the Stampin' Up Owl punch. I saw a little tutorial last year that showed tons of things you can make from just that one punch. HERE is a link to Joanne's blog post about it. Hope you get some inspiration too.

What's The Story Morning Glory?

Time for April's Just Inklined Blog Hop!!!
This month's hostess is our talented boss lady Jak and she has chosen the theme Pleats!
You should have come here from Angela's blog where I am sure she had some lovely eye candy for you.
When I started thinking about pleats all I could come up with was a pleated skirt. I took a strip of paper and sprayed it with glimmer mist, scrunched it up, straightened it out and folded it like a skirt. Then Hubby suggested that I make a flower the same way...so I did. Lol   Then I went to search my images and found this beautiful Gardening Shelf . I thought it would be perfect for Spring.
After I got my card together I sprayed the whole thing with glimmer mist to give the card some sparkle.

Next stop on the hop is Ann's blog where I'm sure she has something beautiful waiting for you.
If you get lost along the way the order is listed below.
Enjoy!!

For OBVIOUS reasons, I couldn't show you this card yesterday.
I made this one for my wonderful Hubby. This is our 21st Valentine's Day!!

Enjoy every moment..

Fancy Folds!!
That's the theme our amazing crafty hostess, Joyce chose for this months Just Inklined blog hop.
You should have hopped here from her blog. If not, hop on over and see what she has created for us. I am sure you don't want to miss it.

I chose to make a Double Dutch Fold card. I haven't made one in a long time.
There is a fabulous & easy tutorial by Patty Bombyk HERE in the Splitcoast Stampers resource section.
I tweaked the measurements on mine because I wanted my card to be a little bigger, but it is basically the same. I chose a new Just Inklined image called "Serenity". Isn't it beautiful? It looks like one of my favorite Summer time spots. Can't you just see yourself sitting there? What would be in your pitcher?? Lol

Here is a pic with the bottom gate fold part open. The top fold is still closed.

Next you are going to be hopping over to our super talented boss lady Jak's blog. She is sure to have some fabulous eye candy for you. She never disappoints.

Make sure to visit all the blogs on the hop, there are 2 hidden prizes to be won!
Enjoy the hop!!

Girls Will Be Girls...

Get your motor running because this month's blog hop (or race in this case) at Just Inklined is all about Cars!! Not whimpy, slow, 4 cylinders...we have some souped up muscle cars to show you.

If you came here from Heidy's blog you are in the right place. If not, you might want to start at the beginning ( Jak's blog ) so you don't miss a thing. Make sure you leave a comment along the way to be eligible for this month's prize.

The order of the hop is:
Jak, Tammy, Toni, Karen, Cathy, Heidy, Jeni (me) & Joyce

You all know I struggle with masculine cards (I think I may have mentioned that before). So, when our lovely boss lady Jak e-mailed me my car I was sent spinning into panic mode. I said to myself, "Self, just do what you do best". That's when I knew this was a girls car!!!! (Lol) I work in a service department and know for a fact that girls do love their cars. I think we all even have our dream cars just like the guys do. Mine is a 1967 Ford Mustang, cherry red, tan leather seats, white wall tires, convertible top optional.

Now, speed on over to Joyce's blog and finish this race!!

Gimme Candy!

I am here to share a little treat bag I made for Halloween. I found a great tutorial HERE. Now that I have it figured out I need to repeat this about 10 more times for all my little monsters. This one will surely be for a boy. This harmless candy monger is "Frank" from Just Inklined. Isn't he adorable? I had a ball coloring him, green skin and all. Lol

You're the Apple of my Eye..

It's the first Monday of the month and that means it's time for another fabulous blog hop over at Just Inklined!! This month's theme is "Check it Out". The hop starts HERE at Karen's blog, KJ's Summer Wine Corner. I'm sure the DT has plenty of beautiful cards to share. Please hop on over and check them out.

I missed the hop this morning because Mother Nature and I had a terrible disagreement yesterday!! She decided it was high time the Tidwell family had a day of NO electronics. We had a lightning storm in the morning and a tree about 20 feet from my house got struck. Our TV, computer, DVD player and Wii all got zapped. Luckily, no one was hurt and the house is fine. Just loud, scary and rather annoying. I took a pic to share with you. The lightning started at the top of the tree and went all the way to the ground. The bark was blown all over the place. I hope this old southern oak doesn't die. I love this tree.

Just realised the irony of my card and this poor tree. Creepy huh?

Please note my neighbor's car in the back ground with the window down...DUH!!!

I Love this American ride!

This month's theme for the Just Inklined Blog Hop is Red, White & Blue (Celebration optional).
There are two mystery spot prizes to be won!!
The two blogs with the prizes are not known so make sure you visit each stop on the blog hop for a better chance to win. I know these crafty girls have some beautiful creations to share with you. The oh so talented, Toni is leading this month so make sure you start with her. If you came here from crafty Joyce's blog you are on the right track. Your next stop will be with our fearless leader Jak. I hope you enjoy the hop and GOOD LUCK!!

Happy Independence Day America!!!

I was flipping through my Just Inklined images trying to decide which image I wanted to use and Daisy jumped out at me. I remember when I was little there was always a parade on the Fourth of July. We would all put red, white and blue tassels on our bicycle's handle bars and an American flag on the back of our seats and ride to the parade. Later that night we would ride out again to see the fireworks. This is what I imagined Daisy was doing too. She kinda reminds me of myself. (Except I would NEVER have been caught in a dress. I was a big Tom Boy)
I hope you all have a safe and wonderful July 4th!!

The order of the hop:

Paper: Creative Memories - Stars, Bazzill Basics - Breaker Bay & Red Devil
Accessories: Clip art - fireworks, Cuttle Bug - Star border embossing folder, Fiskars - Corner punch, Glossy accents, stickles & twine
