Hallelujah!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #146 - Snowmen

Happy Tuesday! Only one week left before Christmas! Can you believe how fast it snuck up on us?
This week at Sassy Cheryl's we are getting our "Frosty" on with the challenge theme Snowmen, brought to you by our very own Crafty Cathy.  Great choice girl!! Perfect, especially for all of you lucky enough to have snow right now. Us Southerners will just have to pretend. ((*sigh*))
This week's challenge will run for 2 weeks so we can take a little break for Christmas.
That gives you a little extra time to join in on the fun.
This little snowball of fun is one of Cheryl's new Snowmen. Isn't he adorable?
He is Fa La La La La Snowman and you can find him HERE.

I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

I made this card as a Birthday card for my Sister, Pam. She turned 44 yesterday and I would just like to remind her that she will ALWAYS be older than me. HeeHeeHee!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SISTA!!!

I made another circle sentiment for my card this week so grab it if you want.

A "Thank You" card...

Hello Blog Land! As you can see, I had a day off today to celebrate The 4th of July. What better way to celebrate than to spend a little time in my "Happy Place".  I wanted to make a Thank You card for someone who did a really nice thing for my Daughter and I. Savannah had a broken glass on one of her VW's side mirrors and I called an old business colleague to have it replaced. What a sweetie...he did it for free!!! I know it wasn't a fortune but it REALLY gives me a little faith in mankind when people do nice things for others. I couldn't let that go by without saying "thanks". So..."Thanks Tim"!

I will be making another one with a slightly different theme when I get a chance. Don't you love it when you are working on one card and get an idea for another one?!?
I pulled out one of my OLD wood mounted stamps for this one. I know, I can hear the gasps! This poor thing has been collecting dust for so long and I actually think this is the very first time I have used it. The stamp is a "Just Married" stamp, but I did a little paper piecing and made a new license plate.

Here's another Flip-Flop Creations sentiment freebie for you...ENJOY!

Stamp: Stampabilities - Just Married Car
Sentiment: Flip-Flop Creations
Paper: Recollections - Red/White polka dots, My Minds Eye - Meadow Lark 6X6 pad
Accessories: Spellbinders - Standard Circles & Labels Twenty-Two, EK Success - 1 1/2" circle punch & 2" scalloped circle punch, MS- Scalloped border punch, Textured Trios - black/white gingham ribbon

Shiver Me Timbers...

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #119 - Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday morning Blog Land friends!
I have the honor of hostessing the challenge this week at Sassy Cheryl's and I have chosen the
theme Happy Birthday. You can never have too many Birthday cards lying around. You never know when you will need one. I made this one with a certain little someone in mind. I just love the way Noah is peeking over the edge of the tub. Doesn't he look like he's up to something??? Just like a certain little red head I know, always looking for mischief. Lol
Cheryl has some adorable new Birthday images in her shop just in time for this challenge.
Stop by and check them out! Hope you can decide on a image and join us.

I thought Noah had been in the bath playing for a while and the water was starting to get a little chilly. That's what made me think of "shiver". Lol
Here is the sentiment I made for Noah. I would love to share it with you. Just right click on the image and save. I just ask that if you use it, tell people where you got it.

Sun Shiny Day!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #118 - Celebrating Grads & Dads

Happy Tuesday morning Blog Land!
It's challenge day over at Sassy Cheryl's and our Sassy Sistah Peggy has set the theme for us.
We are celebrating Grads & Dads this week.

I decided to get a jump on some Father's Day cards.
I have several to make for myself and a couple for friends.
I just can't believe it is June already!!! Where has the first half of this year gone???
I swear, the older I get...the faster time flies.

Hop over to Sassy Cheryl's with a hot cup of whatever you drink and see what the rest of the DT has cooked up for us. After you have gotten some inspiration, head on over to your crafty space and get busy! I know you all have Grads or Dads that need a beautiful card in their "Snail Mail" box.
I can't wait to see what you all come up with.
 Happy Crafting Y'all!!

Enjoy every moment..

Fancy Folds!!
That's the theme our amazing crafty hostess, Joyce chose for this months Just Inklined blog hop.
You should have hopped here from her blog. If not, hop on over and see what she has created for us. I am sure you don't want to miss it.

I chose to make a Double Dutch Fold card. I haven't made one in a long time.
There is a fabulous & easy tutorial by Patty Bombyk HERE in the Splitcoast Stampers resource section.
I tweaked the measurements on mine because I wanted my card to be a little bigger, but it is basically the same. I chose a new Just Inklined image called "Serenity". Isn't it beautiful? It looks like one of my favorite Summer time spots. Can't you just see yourself sitting there? What would be in your pitcher?? Lol

Here is a pic with the bottom gate fold part open. The top fold is still closed.

Next you are going to be hopping over to our super talented boss lady Jak's blog. She is sure to have some fabulous eye candy for you. She never disappoints.

Make sure to visit all the blogs on the hop, there are 2 hidden prizes to be won!
Enjoy the hop!!

Here is the order of the hop:
Joyce
Jeni (you are here)
Jak
Tammy
Toni
Karen
Cathy

A hug FUR you!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #99 - Light blue & brown

Happy Tuesday everyone! It's time for another fun Sassy Cheryl's challenge!
This week I am lucky enough to be the hostess with the mostest.
I chose the colors Light Brown and Blue as the theme.
Just in case you noticed.... my FABULOUS new water mark was made for me by my Crafty Sassy Sister Dawn. I just LOVE it!! Don't you think it fits me perfectly??? Thanks so much Dawn (((hugs)))

I chose Cheryl's adorable Noah & Patches for my card because I needed to make a Birthday card for my Nephew Jonathan. He and I share the same Birthday week so I always tease him and say he was my present. (Lol)  I know...I know...he was HIS Mom's present.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY FINN! I love you bunches!

I want to remind you that next week will be
Sassy Cheryl's 100th Challenge!!!!
We will have a fun challenge for you and the opportunity to win some fabulous prizes. So make sure to come back and play along with us. Not a creature was stirring...

It's the first Monday of the month, so you know what that means...
Time for another FABULOUS Blog hop at Just Inklined!!

I get to be the hostess this month and I have chosen the theme Blue Christmas!

I picked this cute little Door Mouse to use for my card. I can picture this sleepy little fellow trying very hard to wait up on Santa. That brought to mind this sentence from the book
"Twas the Night Before Christmas"...

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

Notice how the mouse is NOT stirring... (lol)

The order for the hop this week is:

From here you should be scurrying on over to our super talented boss Jak's blog.
I hope you enjoy the hop, I'm sure the other girls have some beautiful creations for you.
Don't forget to stop and make a comment on each stop, you never know who holds the prize.
We like to keep you on your toes.
