I just love to play along in the color challenges. It's really cool to see how each person can make the same image look so different. A new Color Me Challenge starts tomorrow. It's a lot of fun and it's a great chance to win a free Sassy Cheryl's image.

Oh What Fun!!

Had a blast at the stamp show in Columbia this weekend!!
Great girls day out with stamps, food , craft stores and Starbucks of course.
Got some really great stuff, just wish I had time to play with it. Tomorrow is Monday so back to work I go. Gotta make some money to pay for all the goodies. Well worth it though.

Cheryl, I used one of these items with my Challenge card this week, can you guess which one?

Hey, I organized a little!

Last week I showed you the things hiding to the right of my craft table and today I am showing you my most organized side; the left. This is where I keep my paper, stamps, Spellbinders, Cuttle Bug & folders, ink, chip board....pretty much everything besides ribbon, punches and Cricut stuff (that's on the right). See how it all hides away nicely? You can't tell it but those drawers are about to burst and come flying across the room any minute. I have a storage issue people. The issue being I don't have enough storage. Hahahaha!
This is my desk top right now. Aren't you all impressed? I don't think you have ever seen it this clean. I got a couple 8x8 paper pads at Michael's for under $3.00. WooHoo! I have some Hershey bars I am getting ready to alter for a few special peeps. I have printed an image to start on and the little book is what we made at "Inky Digits" on Tuesday. That is our stamp group. We have about 12-15 very crafty ladies that meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. We have such a blast taking turns leading the group in a project. This week the very talented Denise (from "Messn' With Paper") was the leader and she showed us how to make this adorable note pad binder. She had this amazing little machine that just went to the top of my "Gotta Get" list. It's called a Zutter. Maybe some of you have heard of it. I am smitten with it. Thanks Denise! You can see the close up below.

Hope you all can play along and show us your "crafty space". We love to snoop and get good ideas.

"Rawr!" means "I Love You"...

This is the cutest little monster I have ever seen! I fell in love with this image from Just Inklined when I saw it. I have been on the search for the perfect paper to match and I finally found it at a local Scrapbook store called "Scrapbooks By The Sea". I don't have anyone in particular that I made it for so I guess it will go in the box for future use.
The weekend is not coming soon enough!! A bunch of us "crafty girls" are headed to Columbia Saturday for a stamp show. Can't wait. Of course we will have to hit Starbucks & Hobby Lobby too. Hopefully I will have some cool new stuff to show you when we get back.

Have A Heart - Gift Card Holder

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #51 - Recycle, Re purpose, Reuse

This week at Sassy Cheryl's our hostess is the very talented Peggy! She wants us to be earth friendly and recycle or reuse something on our creation. This challenge was perfect for me. If I ever give a gift card I always make this clever little holder for it. I honestly have over 200 coffee insulators in a box under my desk waiting to be dolled up and gifted to someone. (My daughter counted them one day) I have stopped saving them, but I haven't stopped drinking my coffee. So if any of you need some, I have plenty. Lol
Most of my insulators are from Starbucks, but I do have a few others. I just flip it over and tear it apart at the seam. It is usually just held together with glue.
Put your paper patterned side down and put your insulator face up on top of the paper. Trace and cut out.

Use some super good adhesive on your patterned paper and attach to insulator. Run a bead of hot glue along the bottom edge and one side edge and fold into each other with the hot glued side on top. Ta-Da!! Just decorate to fit your theme.
Hope you all will take the time to play along with us this week. It is sure to be a fun challenge.

Showin' my big mess for Cheryl...

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Thursday

This is my desk as of this morning. Whew...what a disaster! I promise I DO clean up in between projects. I will be cleaning tonight after I watch my fav show "Bones" so I will be prepared for the weekend. I have quite a few cards to make.
This week you will notice I have labeled a few things because some of you have been asking where I keep all my stuff. I have added a picture of the antique "Hoosier/Sellers" cabinet to the right of my table. It has been in my Dad's family for as long as he can remember. It is one of those things in your house you really cherish and since I spend most of my time in my "Happy Place", what better place to keep it. There is a big pull out storage area and 3 drawers under the pull out counter top. I can get loads of stuff into it. Lol Next week I will show you what is to the left of my table.

Hope you all will take some pics and share with us.

Have a fabulous weekend...Get Crafty!!

Head Over Heels...

Just Inklined February Blog Hop - Love

Hello and happy Monday to you! So glad you stopped by. You picked a good day because I am linking you up with some super talented ladies today. The Just Inklined DT is having our February blog hop. Our theme this month is LOVE of course! If you came here from Karen's blog you are in the right place. Next stop will be Lydia's blog.

The image I chose isn't a "love" or "Valentine" image, but this one was speaking to me this week. This poor little witch was in such a tizzy brewing her love potion she got a little carried away and lost her balance... head first into the pot!! Hope her Valentine appreciates everything she went through for him.

Judy is our hostess with the mostest this week at Sassy Cheryl's and she has chosen a Birthday theme. The only thing you have to remember is to use a "Sassy Girl" for your image. Cheryl has the cutest little girls and not all are specifically for Birthdays...but you can improvise and make them perfect for a Birthday card.

I sure hope you all will come play in the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge this week. There is always a need for an extra Birthday card so go pick out a "Sassy Cutie" and join in!!!
