If a Kiss Was a Raindrop

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #112 - April Showers

Good Morning Blog Land! Tuesday has rolled around again so that must means it's time for another Sassy Cheryl's challenge. I am lucky enough to host this week and I chose the theme April Showers. We haven't had that many showers here on the coast. I sure wish we would...this pollen is KILLING ME!!
I chose Little Land Swimmers for my card this week. Don't you just love this little cutie and her little ducky friend splashing around in the rain? I remember doing that when I was a kid. I also remember doing a lot of other things like popping tar bubbles on the street, catching bumble bees in Coke bottles, playing Kick the Can until it was dark, playing Hop Scotch on the side walk & riding my bicycle with no hands...man, those were the days!!! All those things AND April Sowers means one thing...Summer is coming - WOO HOO!!!

So, get out your umbrellas and goulashes and come play along this week in the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge.
The image I used today is in Cheryl's shop in the $2.00 bin!!! She also has a new cutie patootie
called Sam's Rainy Day that would be such a great addition to your Sassy Cheryl images.

Happy Crafting Y'all!!!

To Infinity and Beyond...

I'm here to share another cutie from Just Inklined with you today.
I have quite a few little boys in my life so I have to keep myself ready for the unexpected. I tend to lean more to the girly side with my cards so I have to make an effort and remind myself to throw in a few boys cards from time to time. This little guy called One Small Step is perfect for the little fellows in your life. What little boy doesn't dream of being an astronaut? I couldn't resist the heart on the flag. Lol

Fluttering By...

Good morning Blog Land!!  Now that everyone has recovered from Monday, we can get on with the rest of the week. So...Happy Tuesday!! You know what that means, it's time for another fun challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's. This week our fearless  DT leader Peggy has picked the challenge of "Butterflies". I never really thought about how very little butterfly craft things I have. All I could come up with was this little butterfly punch and this one lonely piece of paper. I chose one of Cheryl's new cuties for my card this week. Her name is Avery and she is just darling!! I just want to pinch her cheeks! She also has two other new cutie pies, each with their own personalities... Samantha and Charlie

We had sooooo many entries for our "Anything Goes" challenge last week...WOW!!!
It was great to see so many beautiful cards. Hope you can Flutter On By to join us again this week.
Get your creativity on people!!

Do not adjust your computer screen...

Happy Thursday morning!
Are you feeling a wee bit colder since you got here? Lol
I have promised myself to get a head start on my Christmas cards for 2012, so if you stop by and see one from time to time don't be alarmed. I haven't lost my mind... I am just trying to make sure that doesn't happen when Christmas sneaks up on me and I haven't gotten my cards finished.

This little cutie is a Just Inklined image called Letter to Santa (Boy). Isn't he adorable?
There is also a Letter to Santa (Girl) who is just as cute.

I made the strand of lights with the Stampin' Up Owl punch. I saw a little tutorial last year that showed tons of things you can make from just that one punch. HERE is a link to Joanne's blog post about it. Hope you get some inspiration too.

Happy Birthday Hubby!!!

Happy Tuesday!!
I hope you all had a blessed Easter.

It's time for another fun challenge at Sassy Cheryl's and our talented DT leader Peggy has chosen the theme this time. It's an easy peasy one, so no excuses!!
It's an "Anything Goes" challenge! What a perfect chance to let your creative mind take control and do whatever it wants. No rules, just have fun. ( keep it clean people...lol )
I have been wanting to use this image for a while but I knew I had to save it for my Hubby. Well, he turned forty-three on Wednesday and this is the card I made for him. Happy Birthday Honey!!

Remember, using a Sassy Cheryl's image will get you an extra entry into the drawing!
Cheryl has some fun new images AND some new additions to the $2.00 bargain bin!!
Check it out HERE in her shop.
Look forward to seeing your entries this week. Happy Crafting!!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge # 109 - Pastels

Happy Tuesday morning blog land friends! It's time for another fun challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's
Sassy Judy is out hostess with the mostest again this week and she wants us to use pastel colors in our creations. I fought with this card ALL day Sunday. (not that I minded being in my happy place all day)
I really wanted to use this cutie pie, April's Fool. I think Cheryl retired him this past week and I wanted to give him a fond farewell! Don't you just love his cheesy grin?!?
Get out those pastel papers, markers, pencils and do-dads and join us in this weeks challenge!!
Look forward to seeing your entries. Happy Crafting!!

What's The Story Morning Glory?

Time for April's Just Inklined Blog Hop!!!
This month's hostess is our talented boss lady Jak and she has chosen the theme Pleats!
You should have come here from Angela's blog where I am sure she had some lovely eye candy for you.
When I started thinking about pleats all I could come up with was a pleated skirt. I took a strip of paper and sprayed it with glimmer mist, scrunched it up, straightened it out and folded it like a skirt. Then Hubby suggested that I make a flower the same way...so I did. Lol   Then I went to search my images and found this beautiful Gardening Shelf . I thought it would be perfect for Spring.
After I got my card together I sprayed the whole thing with glimmer mist to give the card some sparkle.

Next stop on the hop is Ann's blog where I'm sure she has something beautiful waiting for you.
If you get lost along the way the order is listed below.
Enjoy!!
