I was thinking about a wonderful friend of mine while I was coloring this cutie so I will be sending this her way via snail mail.

I have been wanting to use this image for a while but I knew I had to save it for my Hubby. Well, he turned forty-three on Wednesday and this is the card I made for him. Happy Birthday Honey!!

This week at Sassy Cheryl's we are still going all out with PINK for breast cancer awareness month. In addition this week, we want you to use a die cut.

I just Loooove Cheryl's bird houses!!! As I was wandering around Hobby Lobby with my friend Linda I found this adorable little die cut sign and birdie embossing folder. I was inspired!!! I was picturing this Country Birdhouse digi and singing "Little Pink Houses" by John Mellencamp . I think he has dropped the "Cougar", since he put out this song, but that's what I still call him. I am a child of the 80's!!! *sigh* Thought I would share the video with you......

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #67 - Celebrate Dads

This week at Sassy Cheryl's we are celebrating Father's Day!!!

Sassy & creative Kim has set the challenge this week.

I used "Country Birdhouse Duo" for my card this week. I just adore Cheryl's birdhouses and the versatility of her images is awesome! I added a little King of the Castle sentiment and colored a crown on that cute little blue bird's head to turn this Birdhouse digi into a perfect Father's Day combo! Hope you all will join us in this weeks challenge!

Cheryl has a couple brand spankin' new "Dad" images in the shop that are perfect for the challenge. I just went over and purchased "Father's Day Snooze". When I came home the other day this is exactly where I found my hubby!! (Lol) HAD TO HAVE IT!!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #60 - A Sketch

This weeks Sassy Cheryl's Challenge is brought to you by the fabulously talented Dawn from "Dawn...A New Day". She has created a fun sketch for us to follow. I just realized that my image is a rectangle and the sketch calls for an oval. Sorry Dawn, I never was very good at following directions. (ask the parents) I am in love with Cheryl's bird houses!!! I knew I had to use this image for today's challenge. I had so much fun coloring this one. Now, I just have to wait for someone new to move into my neighborhood. Lol

By the time this posts my Sister will be gone back to Colorado with her family so I made this card with them in mind. We had such a great visit and it is always so sad to see them leave. Our Families always have such a great time when we get together, I just wish we lived closer.

Judy is our Sassy Hostess with the mostest this week and she wants us to use "2" Sassy images on our project. I chose "Sassy Cheryl Winter Stamp" and "Christmas Packages".
This was one of those times where I start out with an idea in mind and by the time I am finished....it's a totally different result. At first I had pinks and browns chosen and I really don't know what happened. Lol
