Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #111 - Butterflies

Good morning Blog Land!!  Now that everyone has recovered from Monday, we can get on with the rest of the week. So...Happy Tuesday!! You know what that means, it's time for another fun challenge over at Sassy Cheryl's. This week our fearless  DT leader Peggy has picked the challenge of "Butterflies". I never really thought about how very little butterfly craft things I have. All I could come up with was this little butterfly punch and this one lonely piece of paper. I chose one of Cheryl's new cuties for my card this week. Her name is Avery and she is just darling!! I just want to pinch her cheeks! She also has two other new cutie pies, each with their own personalities... Samantha and Charlie. 

We had sooooo many entries for our "Anything Goes" challenge last week...WOW!!!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #93 - Santa

Our crafting cutie, Judy is the hostess this week at Sassy Cheryl's and she has been a good girl all year and is ready for Santa to come to town. Cheryl has the cutest Santa's around. I chose Santa and His Little Tree for my card this week. Isn't he adorable?!? Look at those knobby knees!!

I would like to take a minute to say that we are so thrilled with the challenge participation the past few weeks. It has been a blast getting to peek at some blogs we haven't had the chance to visit before. I can't wait to see what you all come up with this week.

Totally Papercrafts Challenge #92 - Victorian

It's Victoria's turn to host our challenge at Totally Papercrafts so it's fitting that she has chosen the theme....Victorian. I do have to say that this is a little outside my comfort zone. So, this was definitely a challenge for me. I guess it's good to reach outside your box sometimes. I sure had fun creating this card and I have to say that I am pretty pleased.

It is Veteran's Day, formerly known as Armistice Day here in The United States. I wanted to make a patriotic themed card to show love and support for all our Veterans and to give thanks to them for their sacrifice.

Heidy is our hostess and she wants us to make something that can be given as a gift FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!! I stressed the Christmas part because you will soon see that I totally over looked that part of the theme. I am afraid I will be getting a "needs improvement" on following directions. I know my kids will laugh when they read this because I always stress this point on test days. "Always read the directions thoroughly".

My gift will be given to a poor soul who is feeling poorly on Christmas. Lol

I love the Holidays and cooler weather, but that always means one thing.....

The cold and flu season is upon us and there are a lot of sickies out there. Believe me, we have had our share in my house. I made this little gift bag to put hot tea bags, cough drops, peppermints, tissues, medicine or anything really to help someone feel better when they are feeling a little under the weather. They are so handy to have around for loved ones.
