When life gives you lemons...

Good Morning! Hope you are all doing well.
I'm here to share a card I made last night. I belong to a little card club here in the area and we meet twice a month. At each meeting we all bring a card to share, then we draw one person's name and they win all of the cards. Works out pretty good, unless you aren't particularly lucky. Lol
My daughter DRAGGED me to the craft store yesterday. (Woe, is me...) While I  was wandering the aisles aimlessly I saw this paper and thought of lemons. My mind started wandering into my crafty stash to TRY and remember if I still had this little Quickutz  "Citrus Slice" die. I wasn't sure, but I bought the paper anyway. Better safe than sorry...RIGHT?
I kept this one clean and simple (totally NOT me ). Hope you like it.
Inside: tell your friends to bring salt and tequila!

Happy crafting y'all!!

Wow...2013!!

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #147 - Anything Goes
(use your fave Sassy Cheryl image)

Happy New Year!!
Where has 2012 gone???? I swear, the older I get, the faster time flies.
We are kicking off the New Year with a super fun challenge at Sassy Cheryl's. It's a "Anything Goes" challenge using your favorite Sassy Cheryl image.  I usually pick my image for the week by looking through my image folder. Each week one of Cheryl's cuties talks to me. This week it was her Little Baker image.
Isn't she adorable?!? AND she is in the $1.00 bin in Sassy Cheryl's Shop!!
Last week's Snowman challenge ran for two weeks, but we are back on schedule with our weekly challenge.
We would love for you to join us. You can check out my other Sassy DT members cards for some more inspiration HERE. I'm sure they have created something fabulous for you.

I made this card for my Super crafty friend, Kim of Oak Pond Creations
She turned 29 again yesterday!! (lol)
She is a big dork like me and likes the movie Napoleon Dynamite...hence, the sentiment.
Happy Birthday Kim!!!

Fairy Tales Do Come True

Happy Friday everyone! It has FINALLY arrived!!
I was asked by a friend of mine to make her a card for a bridal shower she was heading to this weekend.
She gave me the bridesmaid's color and told me she had brown hair. I chose the Fairy Tale theme because my friend is a Disney fanatic like me. I sure hope she likes it.
I am entering this into the Tiddly Inks Best Friends Challenge. I hope it fits since I made it for one of mine AND don't you always marry your best friend?

Here's a close up of the image, so you can see the sparkles on her dress. Every bride should shine!

The Bride to Be's new monogram!!! (how exciting)
Do you ladies remember practicing writing your new names before you got married? I do...

Black & White Cake

I made this for a friend who just got married. (also a fellow card maker) I used the QuicKutz cake die, Kaiser Craft sublime polka-dot paper, white tulle & Special Moment brad. I have had the die for a while but havent used it. I think I'll be using it often :) "Thanks for looking"
