Swimming for Katie!

Welcome to the Swimming for Katie Blog Hop!!
If you came here from Jane's blog you are on the right track. I'm sure she had a great bit of inspiration for you. If not, run over to Mina's blog and start at the beginning.

Join us in support of our friend and stamper, Katie Renz, who is currently battling gastric cancer. Exclusive stamp & digis will be available for sale with 100% of the profits going to Katie and her family. Katie’s cancer story started just before Christmas last year. This young, beautiful, healthy, vibrant mother of 3 with her infectious smile was suddenly diagnosed with an inoperable cancer, virtually overnight. The idea of “Swimming for Katie” came from her recent post here.

Little Pink Houses for You and Me

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #85 - Pink (with a die cut)

This week at Sassy Cheryl's we are still going all out with PINK for breast cancer awareness month. In addition this week, we want you to use a die cut.
I just Loooove Cheryl's bird houses!!! As I was wandering around Hobby Lobby with my friend Linda I found this adorable little die cut sign and birdie embossing folder. I was inspired!!! I was picturing this Country Birdhouse digi and singing "Little Pink Houses" by John Mellencamp . I think he has dropped the "Cougar", since he put out this song, but that's what I still call him. I am a child of the 80's!!! *sigh* Thought I would share the video with you......

Remember, you no longer have to use a Sassy Cheryl's image to play along. BUT...if you do, you will have twice the chance to win that Sassy Cheryl's gift certificate!! So, come play along. Just remember to "Think Pink".

Am I Corny?

Umm....afraid so!
Nothing wrong with being a little Corny.

I did a little paper piecing on this cutie from Whimsy and Stars. It is called Silly Candy Corn and you can find it HERE, along with so many more adorable images for Fall.
These little candies don't last very long around my house. I have a little candy dish with Huey, Dewey & Louie standing around it and it's my job to keep it full the whole month of October. So, I guess you could say my whole Family must be a little corny. (soooo true)
