This week at
Sassy Cheryl's our hostess is the very talented Peggy! She wants us to be earth friendly and recycle or reuse something on our creation. This challenge was perfect for me. If I ever give a gift card I always make this clever little holder for it. I honestly have over 200 coffee insulators in a box under my desk waiting to be dolled up and gifted to someone. (My daughter counted them one day) I have stopped saving them, but I haven't stopped drinking my coffee. So if any of you need some, I have plenty.
Lol Most of my insulators are from Starbucks, but I do have a few others. I just flip it over and tear it apart at the seam. It is usually just held together with glue.
Put your paper patterned side down and put your insulator face up on top of the paper. Trace and cut out.
Use some super good adhesive on your patterned paper and attach to insulator. Run a bead of hot glue along the bottom edge and one side edge and fold into each other with the hot glued side on top. Ta-Da!! Just decorate to fit your theme.
Hope you all will take the time to play along with us this week. It is sure to be a fun challenge.
