Coloring Caddy

Hello Blogland! I was wandering around Michael's on my lunch hour yesterday (imagine that) and came across this cute little metal cart ON SALE!! It gave me an idea. I try to keep the desk top in my craft room as clean as possible. (Bahahahaha!) Anyway, I thought I could free up some space by putting my favorite coloring mediums on a different surface, but I still wanted to keep them close by. Now I can wheel them wherever I go! I have a similar cart I got from Ikea called the Raskog Utility Cart but I didn't want to drive over 4 hours to pick one up. This one from Michael's seems to be made just as well. Just my opinion, I am not a spokesperson. Lol!

(How cute is my little Baxter?!?)

I bought 2 of these plastic organizers and they fit PERFECTLY side by side in the top tray to help keep my pens and pencils together by color families and keep them from falling over. I put my pens in the middle to keep my Prisma and Faber Castell separated. You can click the link below the picture to take you to Michael's website.

Rolling Paper Rack

Hello Crafty Friends!

I had to stop in and show you the newest addition to my " Happy Crafty Space". After moving into my new craft room I have had my 12 X 12 DP either in boxes or on a few shelves and it was getting a bit cluttered around here. Hubby and I have been meaning to build this rack for a while and just haven't had the time. A couple weekends ago, we had some camping plans fall thru and we needed something to do to keep us busy, so I suggested that it would be a PERFECT time to get into the wood shop and this is what we came up with. We built it around an existing 32 slot wire paper rack I've had for quite a while, anchored it down, added a couple top shelves and a peg board back for extra storage. I just LOVE how it turned out and I think she feels right at home in her little closet BUT she also has wheels so she can go wherever I go.

Love One Another

Happy Friday!

I am here to share a quick page I started in Bible Journaling class and finished last night when I got home. In such a crazy world, it is so therapeutic to sit with others and talk about God's love for us and to be creative at the same time.

Don't Tell Anyone...

I have had this cutie in my digi collection for quite some time. Isn't it adorable?!?
It is a Mo Manning image called "I Forgot". You can purchase it for yourself HERE.
She has been colored on my craft desk just waiting to be used for about a month, poor thing...
I FINALLY got some crafty time and had to give her a home.
I will probably keep her in my stash for the next time I forget something, which
probably won't be long. HeeHee
I did a little "research on the Forget Me Not flower and found that they are blue or blueish purple.
It doesn't go too well with the color scheme of my card but it fits the theme.
I think it stands out nicely.
I am entering my card in the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge #266, Anything Goes.

Purrrrfectly Awful!

Hello Blogland! Hope you are all well. I'm here to share a quick card I made
for a card group swap. I thought it would be a good one for someone to keep on hand.
This card is super clean for me, but I thought Tim Holtz's Crazy Cat was
speaking for himself. Lol! Look at that pitiful face...

The sentiment was just typed up in a Word document. I framed it out with the same paper
I used on the little tag on the front. Easy Peasy!

Triple Chocolate Raspberry Cupcakes!

I got cheffy in the kitchen on Mother's Day and made these DELICIOUS cupcakes.
I found a recipe on Pinterest and had to try it.
NAILED IT!!! (lol)
I tweaked it a bit and added my own touches but stuck with the recipe for the most part.

Hope I have inspired you to get in the kitchen and try something new.

Hi! I just wanted to share a little something I made this weekend.
Before boxing up my craft room and moving it into it's new home I had a few projects "in process". This little guy has been colored up for about 3 years and just waiting patiently to be made into something. I finally pulled this little card together and put a smile on his face.

Let Them Eat Cake...

I wanted to share a cake I made for my daughter's Gender Reveal Party.
This is my first attempt at the "Pulled Dot" decorating technique.
It was very time consuming, but it was fun. I like the result but I can't wait to try it again.
Practice makes perfect, right?

Dying to make some more ribbon...
(pun intended)
It's been quite a while since I played in Blogland.
Honestly, I haven't had much to share... sad huh?
My crafty friends Kim, from Oak Pond Creations and Linda, from Turtle in the Sand
came over last weekend and we had some fun dying seam binding ribbon.
Why haven't I done this sooner?!?!
