Anita Be Stampin Challenge #24 - Recipe

This week at Anita Be Stampin we are following the recipe below for our challenge.

This little "Missy" was a freebie for Anita's 100 member celebration. Isn't she adorable? Since the recipe called for 3 designer papers I went straight to my scrap box to see what I could find. I really need to do that more often, I have tons of it. I think I have some My Minds Eye on there. I popped up the clouds up for Hubby, he likes dimension and you gotta keep him happy. (Lol) I grabbed my flower pieces from my flower bucket and put them together with a little yellow brad and sprayed them with glimmer mist, added a Sizzix vine for trim and there you have it!

This week at Anita Be Stampin we want to see "Layers" so pile it on ladies!!

My card this week was inspired by my Sister(kinda looks like her). She lives in Colorado and recently had SNOW!!! WHAT!?!? At least I have a hop on my Christmas cards. I love this digi! I know today I would usually be posting about a new challenge over at Anita Be Stampin but I am just here to share another card I have made with one of her fabulous images. Anita has decided to extend her challenges to 2 weeks so everyone will have time to play along. The "Pearls and Lace" challenge is still going on so hop on over and show us your cards.

For this card I took the Tallulah digi image and cropped just the top half of her body with my "Classic Square" Spellbinder to show off her gorgeous hat!! Isn't it fabulous!?! I got all these papers from my box of scraps so I am sorry I don't know any details about them. I added a little ribbon and a bow and finished it off with the perfect sentiment from Create with TLC. Sometimes I just love to go all fru-fru!!

It's time to get Froo-Froo ladies!!!

I have used one of Anita's rubber stamp sets called "Cherry Sweet". Love her!! Isn't she a doll!?! I was so excited when I got her in the mail, it was like Christmas. (Lol) I actually colored her about 5 different times and picked the one that matched the paper I chose the best.

Anita Be Stampin Chellenge #20 - Sketch

This week at Anita Be Stampin we have another great sketch for you to work with. I love using sketches because the hardest part is already done for you, all that's left is deciding which papers and embellishments you are going to use. This beautiful lady is Victoria and you can find her HERE. The distress ink turned out a little darker than I would have liked. I was going for an antique look and I used Antique Linen but I think I got carried away. Lol

This week's Challenge at Anita Be Stampin is a fabulous color combo challenge. This is my first time working with one of Anita's Fairies and I just loved it. She really has some beautiful fairy digis. I have found another excuse to use glitter!! My bloggie friend Sarah would be proud.
