Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #44 - Blue
This is Sassy Cheryl's first challenge of 2011!!! ( *** confetti in the air *** ) I can't wait to see what Cheryl has in store for us this year. Ann is our hostess with the mostest and she has picked the theme "blue" for us this week.
Okay, Christmas is over and do you know what that means for me? There is NO NEED for cold weather or snow!! I will be longing for summer and lazy beach days for the next 4-5 months. That's what this card is all about!!! I tried something "new to me" this week. I printed my image on craft paper and colored it with my Prismacolor pencils. I like the way this technique looks and I think I will be trying it again. Practice, practice, practice...Lol
Start out the new year right and jump in on the first challenge of the year! If you feel like making a card with that cold white stuff on it I will forgive you. (maybe)

well I think it is great....I love this image. We will be heading to the warmth soon. Our cruise is this month, and then off to see Brendan in March....
Just gorgeous! Wait a minute - you're in SC! It ought to be warm enough for you, eh?
Lovely Jeni. The seashells and sandcastle embellishments are perfect!
Can't wait until it is actually nice enough outside to be at the beach in at least shorts. :)
When Christmas is over, I'm SO ready for spring.
Adorable!
Wow jeni, love everything about this card. all the embellishments, makes me want to go the ocean.
the flowers on my card that you were asking about come from Fred She said. I am so glad you mentioned it, I have added that info to my post.
OH, I like how this turned out. I now off to try printing on kraft paper! thanks for the idea!
Love the Prismas on Kraft and it even looks better in person. I am absolutely going to try this, this week! One thing about the cold weather is that you have plenty of inside time to color!!!
Jeni this is SO pretty!! I love your idea with the kraft paper and that pretty shell you added too!! Very creative!!
