Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #102 - No designer papers
Happy Valentine's Day my blog land friends! I'm sending out lots of love to you today!
It's time for another challenge at Sassy Cheryl's and Cathy is our hostess with the mostest. She has asked us NOT to use ANY designer paper!!! *** Gasp! *** This was a particularly HARD challenge for me. You see, I have a paper problem!! I see pretty papers and I just have to have them. I could probably make cards for a few years and not run out. I really was last minute making this one. The idea didn't hit me until Saturday when I was visiting my Hubby at work. He was helping a customer so I was wandering around the store being nosy and curious. I saw a big wall with lots of pretty colors and it just sucked me in. It was almost like the paper racks at the craft store!! Lol I started picking up the sample cards they have and that's when it hit me. So, here ya go! My NO designer paper card. The paint sample doesn't count, right????
Cheryl has decided to change the weekly prize from a $5 gift certificate to 2 free images!!!

Paint Chips DEFINITELY do not count as designer paper and when I saw this card on the blog, I had to stop and immediately come tell you how much I love it. Fabulous idea.

Oh Jeni...I think the paint sample card is a brilliant alternative to DPs. Oh...it counts, sistah! I laughed when I read that you're a DP addict too! I;m right there with ya! Your card is just as bright and happy as it can be! And your coloring is gorgeous!! I love it! Hugs. Pat Frank

Jeni, you are so cute, your paint chip card is not considered dp so you are ok GF. Love the colors and your image is colored beautifully as always. Love the embossing and ribbon. Such a Happy Card :)

This is so cute and Kim is right, much cuter in person. Love how the names on the paint samples all tie in with the image. How would Daffodil look in my kitchen? Too bright? Had fun today sweetie!
