Back 2 School

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #75 - Not your usual fold

It is my turn to host the Sassy Cheryl Challenge this week and I want to see some different folds on your cards. I have been seeing some pretty neat folds out there in blog land and I wanted to get out of my square rut. Hey...it's comfortable for me. (Lol)

I just adore Cheryl's new school kids images. This one is called "First Day of School". I know I have said this before but these girls with the bob hair cut remind me so much of my Savannah when she was little. Now she will be starting college at the end of August!! ** sigh **

I chose a side step card for my fold. I like the way they display so pretty. I like to leave out the cards I receive so I can enjoy them. You will usually find them on my shelves, kitchen island, craft table, or any flat surface. (Lol) Feel free to send as many as you like.

I hope you can come join us in the challenge this week. Look forward to seeing your interesting folds...inspire us. Happy Crafting!!

We are welcoming a new member to the Sassy Cheryl's Design Team. Pat Frank of Cards2Cherish is joining us this week so go check out her blog HERE. She is super talented and we are so happy to have her on the team. Welcome Pat!!

Simply precious Jeni! And what a FANTASTIC choice for the challenge theme! This is going to be so much fun! Too bad you didn't have them images when Savannah was a kid! :)

Hi Jeni...thank you soooo much for the warm welcome! I'm beyond excited to be joining you and the rest of the sassy ladies!! Like you, I just love Chery's images...and the school kids are such fun! What a great challenge! I am not always very adventurous with my folds...so this one really gave me the push I needed to try something other than one of my "standard" folds. I must have this image...she's sooooo cute!! Your coloring is gorgeous...and I love the DPs and fun bow...they're perfect for this back to school card! Congrats on your daughter's new journey. You must be so proud!! :-) Pat Frank
