Thanks for Poppin' in!!!

This weeks challenge is right up my bloggy friend Sarah's alley!!! I can always count on her to give me my daily dose of glitter & sparkles!!! LOVE IT!!! I have channeled her creativity and glittered my cloud and "magic" sparkles surrounding this adorable Sassy Studio, Marry Poppins image. I topped it off with a sentiment using one of Mary Poppins' famous quotes. This has to be one of my top 5 Disney movies. I could watch it over and over. Really i just love anything with Julie Andrews in it. Lol She is such a talented, beautiful lady.

If Friends were flowers...

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge #87 - Inspiration pic & Pink

This week's challenge is brought to us by our very own talented DT member Dawn. She has chosen an inspiration picture for us to work with.

This week it took me a while to get my idea going. I think I am suffering from Camper's block. (Lol) I got so relaxed that I think I lost some Mojo. I was scanning my Sassy Cheryl images and came across this adorable Button Flower Bag. I pictured the flowers as the dishes in the inspiration picture. I wish my wood DP was a little lighter but I think this will have to do.
Cheryl's images are so versatile! I have used this image before and I love the totally different results you can get. My other one is HERE.

Dawn's Fabulous Inspiration picture:

Look over the picture for a bit and see what you can come up with!!
Looking forward to seeing your creation on the Challenge Blog.

Christmas Door

Happy Sunday!! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Are you ready to start another week?
We took our camper out for the first time on a short trip to Myrtle Beach. We had a great time and it was a learning experience for us all. Setting up and camping was a blast but taking everything down and unpacking it all was the pits!! I have a couple cards to get done and I am losing steam. Who knew camping could be so tiring? Lol

The image I am sharing with you today is a new one from Just Inklined. I had it colored up before we left and was itching to get it onto a card. There are some really great new Just Inklined Holiday images to check out HERE.
I am slowly getting some Christmas cards done and I am soooo ready to kick in the Season. It doesn't officially start for me until I go to the Dicken's Christmas Show here in Myrtle Beach. I have gone since I was a little girl with my Mom and Grandma and I continue to go and take my kids too. It is a day full of crafters, artists, food and Christmas fun!

The Other Woman...

Technically is was still Thursday when I started typing this post! (Lol)

My hubby Steve got a new toy a couple months ago. He has been looking for an older model Airstream for a while and finally found one about 10 miles away. The picture below was from the day after he brought it home. He has been working on it DAILY and it is really starting to shine. I should be a little jealous of the "other woman" in his life, but I am happy he has found something to "fix". He is one of those people who just CAN NOT sit still.

You do know that I have to make the inside of the camper cute & cozy!!! My crafty friend Linda (Turtle in the Sand) is helping me make new curtains. She is in trouble with my hubby because she calls the camper an M.C.R. ( Mobile Craft Room) Bahahahaha! You have to admit that would be really cool!! Anyway... we went to Hobby Lobby and picked out a "groovy" floral pattern and a matching stripe. We also found those little dangling ball thingies everyone put on their curtains in the 70's to make them look authentic. (I have no idea what they are really called) We are going to make matching throw pillows too!!! I have actually learned a thing or two about sewing. We have also managed to break Linda's sewing machine...imagine that!!! Once we are up and running again I will post more pics of our progress.

Maiden voyage this weekend...wish us luck!

Momma's Little Clown...yep, that's me!

Happy Friday Everyone!!! This week over at Totally Papercrafts we want to see some layers.
Layer on those papers, embellishments, buttons, punches, die cuts....you just need to layer it!

I have wanted to use this little guy for such a long time! He is so stinkin' adorable!! Since he is Momma's Little Clown I figured what better time to use him than my Mom's Birthday!!! She celebrated her 39th Birthday on the 12th AGAIN!!! How long can this facade go on?? Lol
(Just kidding Mom)
