Technically is was still Thursday when I started typing this post! (Lol)
My hubby Steve got a new toy a couple months ago. He has been looking for an older model Airstream for a while and finally found one about 10 miles away. The picture below was from the day after he brought it home. He has been working on it DAILY and it is really starting to shine. I should be a little jealous of the "other woman" in his life, but I am happy he has found something to "fix". He is one of those people who just CAN NOT sit still.
You do know that I have to make the inside of the camper cute & cozy!!! My crafty friend Linda (Turtle in the Sand) is helping me make new curtains. She is in trouble with my hubby because she calls the camper an M.C.R. ( Mobile Craft Room) Bahahahaha! You have to admit that would be really cool!! Anyway... we went to Hobby Lobby and picked out a "groovy" floral pattern and a matching stripe. We also found those little dangling ball thingies everyone put on their curtains in the 70's to make them look authentic. (I have no idea what they are really called) We are going to make matching throw pillows too!!! I have actually learned a thing or two about sewing. We have also managed to break Linda's sewing machine...imagine that!!! Once we are up and running again I will post more pics of our progress.
Maiden voyage this weekend...wish us luck!

Jeni, this is a fabulous find and you and Linda are going to have the inside looking so fantastic. Love the curtain. I was thinking they're called Pom Pom fringe. THink the MCR is hysterical, but I'm sure Steve doesn't.
Wow, an Airstream... that's cool! My hubby and I are big campers and finally moved from a slide in camper to a 21-foot toyhauler. It's like staying in a 5-star hotel!! Can't wait to see more photos of the "MCR" as you decorate, Jeni.
Hope you had fun on your trip. Great curtains! Does that mean you'll have more crafting time cause he's outside fixing up.. :O)
